PRIORITY BYPASS ON THE MONTENEGRIN COAST

SEETO ROUTE 1, MONTENEGRO



Preparation of a Feasibility Study for a priority bypass on the Montenegrin coast and development of Draft Preliminary Design for the identified priority section.


Project description

Comparative analysis of the three proposed by-passes sections (Herceg Novi, Budva and Bar) to determine if one or more bypass is feasible from the technical, economic, environmental and social perspective and preparation of feasibility study for the priority bypass, design speed is 80km/h.

Screening and Prioritisation of the 3 By-passes elaborated under the Stage I, and Budva is identified as priority bypass as the most valuable investment.

Under the Stage II, Draft Preliminary Design, detailed Feasibility Study and Draft ESIA are prepared for the identified priority section.


 ABOUT BYPASSES

- Herceg Novi bypass length - 16.67km
(2.64km on bridges and 4.39km in tunnels). - Budva bypass length - 29.09km
(3.28km on bridges and 9.29km in tunnels).
- Bar Bypass length - 14.78km
(3.05km on bridges and 4.54km in tunnels).
